Installation and on-site fitting
The kit includes all flashing components and installation products required for assembly on site. Begin by preparing the roof opening to the correct dimensions and ensuring the roof structure is sound and level. Position the flashing components around the window frame opening, working from the bottom upwards to ensure water runs down and outward. Use the integrated installation products supplied in the kit to secure and seal all joints. Follow the step-by-step sequence: install the lower flashing first, then side flashings, and finally the upper flashing. Ensure all components overlap correctly to direct water away from the window frame. Test the weathertight seal by running water over the installation before completing roof covering work.
- Prepare roof opening to correct dimensions before fitting
- Install flashing components from bottom to top
- Use all supplied installation products for secure weathertight seal
- Overlap all flashing joints to direct water outward

Limitations and maintenance
This standard flashing kit is designed for typical pitched roof applications only. It will not provide a weathertight seal if installed on unsuitable roof types or if components are damaged during handling or installation. Inspect the flashing annually, particularly after severe weather, to ensure all joints remain sealed and no debris has accumulated around the window frame. Clear any moss, leaves, or dirt from the flashing surfaces and roof tiles around the installation. Do not attempt to modify or adapt the flashing components for non-standard applications, as this will compromise the weathertight performance.
- Not suitable for flat roofs or non-standard roof constructions
- Inspect annually for damage or debris accumulation
- Keep flashing surfaces and surrounding tiles clear
- Do not modify components for alternative applications
