Description

Siniat Fire Plasterboard is a Type DF plasterboard compliant with EN 520, specifically formulated to deliver fire-rated performance in non-loadbearing partition and wall lining systems. A single 12.5mm layer achieves 30 minutes fire resistance when used in metal stud frameworks, eliminating the need for double-layer systems in many commercial and residential applications. The board's core composition and surface finish are optimised to resist flame spread and limit smoke development, meeting the fire performance criteria demanded by Building Regulations and modern construction standards.

Installation follows standard plasterboard practices: the sheets are fixed to metal or timber studs using drywall screws or nails, then jointed and finished with joint compound and tape. At 2400 × 1200mm per sheet, coverage is efficient and waste is minimised on typical stud centres. The board is suitable for both internal partitions and wall linings in offices, schools, hospitals, residential blocks and other buildings where fire safety is a design priority.
