What you are buying
One sheet measuring 2440mm long by 1220mm wide by 12mm thick. The B/BB grading indicates the face veneer is premium grade (B) with a utility-grade reverse (BB). The Eucalyptus core provides excellent stability and resistance to movement. The sheet is certified to EN314-2 CI2 (interior use, moisture-resistant adhesive) and EN636-2S (service class 2, suitable for interior environments with occasional moisture), and carries E1 Class 2 formaldehyde certification.
- Single sheet: 2440 x 1220 x 12mm
- B/BB face grading: premium finish on one side
- Eucalyptus core for stability and warp resistance
- EN314-2 CI2 and EN636-2S certified
- E1 Class 2 low-formaldehyde emission
Compatibility and sizing
This 12mm thickness is ideal for cabinet carcassing, internal shelving, and furniture frames where moderate load-bearing is required. Confirm your design load and span requirements before purchase. The sheet dimensions suit standard cabinet widths and can be cut to size on site using a circular saw, table saw, or panel saw. Always plan your cutting layout to minimise waste and maximise the use of the premium B-graded face. Check that your workshop or site has adequate storage space for a full sheet (approximately 2.97 square metres) and that you can handle or transport it safely.
- 12mm thickness suitable for cabinetry and shelving frames
- Check design loads and span requirements for your application
- Can be cut with standard woodworking saws
- Plan cutting layout to use premium face efficiently
- Requires flat, dry storage space
Pre-installation checks and preparation
Before fixing, inspect the sheet for any visible damage, delamination, or edge crushing. Store the plywood flat and indoors in a dry environment for at least 48 hours before use to allow it to acclimatise to site humidity and temperature. Ensure your workshop or assembly area is well-ventilated. When cutting, wear appropriate dust protection and use sharp blades to achieve clean edges. The smooth face finish is ready for direct painting or veneering; light sanding may improve adhesion if applying veneer or stain. Seal any exposed edges with edge banding or paint to prevent moisture ingress and maintain dimensional stability.
- Inspect for damage, delamination, or crushing before use
- Acclimatise indoors for 48 hours in dry conditions
- Use sharp blades and dust protection when cutting
