The 1981mm height suits most UK domestic ceiling heights but should be checked against your actual opening; if your opening is significantly taller, the door will require topping out or you may need a taller size. The door is pre-hung or supplied as a blank depending on your order; confirm whether hinges and latch hardware are included or must be purchased separately.

Preparation and fixing

Clear pine doors are typically supplied unfinished or with a light sanding. Before hanging, inspect the door for any damage or warping. Sand lightly with fine-grit paper if needed, then apply your chosen finish—paint, stain, or clear varnish—to all surfaces including edges to protect against moisture movement. Hang the door using three hinges (standard for internal doors) and ensure it is plumb and level before securing permanently.
