Sizing and coverage
Each board measures 1200mm length by 450mm width by 90mm thickness, providing 0.54 m² of coverage per board. The 90mm thickness is designed to fill a standard 90mm cavity completely. Calculate your total cavity area in square metres, then divide by 0.54 to determine the number of boards required. Account for waste and cutting around openings by adding 5-10% to your order.

Installation and fixing
The tongue-and-groove profiled edges are designed to lock boards together during installation, creating a continuous insulation layer and eliminating gaps where moisture could enter. Boards are easy to cut on site using standard tools if required for fitting around openings or adjusting to cavity dimensions. Install boards horizontally or vertically depending on your cavity wall construction method, ensuring the foil facing is positioned correctly and all joints are fully engaged. The low emissivity composite foil facing should face the residual cavity space to maximise thermal resistance.
